 Bethlehem - Checkpoint 300:

6:45 am

Many vehicles outside waiting for passengers.  Inside four checking booths operating.  Short lines.  Many smiles and positive feedback.  About 7:15 people are beginning to say there are many people waiting to enter.  A little later we hear shouting from the other side.  Now people say only one line is open, and sometimes it is closed for a time.  It is reported to us that those waiting are told to move back, stop pushing or no one will enter.  7:50 am not everyone has passed.

During our surveillance three people were not allowed to pass because of problems with their permit.
