Qalandiya, 6:20

We observed that while the cars were moving slowly, the pedestrian line was very short.  We were pleased with the effort by the Israeli soldier to use Arabic and Hebrew as he said "Good Morning" over the loud speaker.  The Ecumenical observers expressed satisfaction with the situation.

 Anata, 6:50

The cars inspection area was crowded but moving efficiently.  We would like to point out that the arrangement for pedestrians was unsightly and even unsafe as there were no walkways and the entire area was chopped up. The soldiers were polite and efficient as they moved the pedestrians through the checkpoint.
