Bethlehem, Etzion DCL, Tue 12.1.10, Morning

6:40 am, Bethelehem - Checkpoint 300:  five checking stations open. There is a steady stream of people going through.  At 7:15 there are still many people waitingto pass.  The complaint is that theHumanitarian line is not open.  Ourefforts do not bear fruit.  At 7:40 stillnot everyone has entered Jerusalem.

8:05  am, Etzion DCL:  the DCL is just opening. Ten men are waiting.  One man hascome because the date on his entry for Hadassah Ein Karem is not correct.  He has been going to Hadassah for a year withhis small child who receives therapy against Leukemia.  He has left his child with an older brother,age ten, to wait until he returns with the proper permit date.  We ask to speed up his request.  He was taken care of.
