מחסום בית לחם (הצד הישראלי) כצפוי העוברים מתלוננים על בוקר קשה. .. מגיע אדם מבוגר ומספר שהיה לחץ גדול ואחד מאנשי כוחות הבטחון (האיש אמר ג'ונדי=חייל, אך בהמשך התברר שזה היה אחד המאבטחים – ר' להלן), נהג בגסות בעוברים, לרבות חולים מבוגרים, והשיא היה שהכה בפניו אדם מבוגר שרצה לעבור לטיפול רפואי, ולא אפשר לו לעבור למרות שהיה לו אישור. Bethlehem Israeli side of the Bethlehem Checkpoint As usual, workers complain about a difficult morning. An elderly man arrives and reports of great crowds at the checkpoint and of a security guard named R’ who treated the crowd , many of whom were elderly and ill, aggressively. The worse situation involved an elderly sick man who had a permit to pass through for medical care and the guard refused to allow him through.

Later the young men will caused a disturbance. At the back of the picture one can see the endless queues of those waiting to cross to Jerusalem.
