The road will divert Palestinian traffic onto a narrow bypass road that will be the only connection for Palestinian drivers between the northern and southern parts of the West Bank. This will make it possible to close off the entire Ma’ale Adumim bloc and E1 area to Palestinians, freeing them for construction and attachment to Jerusalem.

אנחנו מקבלות מאביב טרטרסקי מ"עיר עמים" את ה-נ"צ של בית בואדי קדום (בעלייה לראס אל עמוד) שקיבל צו הריסה חדש. תושביו מפגינים היום בצהרים בעירייה. צו הריסה חדש לבית יפה מאבן ירושלמית שנבנה ב-2014, גרים בו 100 דיירים, ואין לו רישיון (כמעט שאי אפשר לקבל רישיון בנייה בירושלים המזרחית.). האפוטרופוס והעירייה פתחו השנה במבצע מקיף לבדיקת כל ההיתרים והרישומים בטאבו של כל הבתים הפלסטיניים במזרח העיר כדי ל"עשות סדר" (כלומר, לפנות ולהרוס). מיקום הבית אינו מיקום אופייני להריסה, הוא שוכן בוואדי מתחת להר הזיתים, משם מתוכננת להיחפר מנהרת אפרטהייד שתביא את תושבי ההתנחלויות של דרום הגדה לכבישי צפון הגדה. העירייה טוענת שהשטח אינו למגורים אלא לספורט, פנאי ןשעשועים. נשמע כמו לעג לרש. בסוף המשמרת, נתניה הלכה להפגנת התושבים מול העירייה. היא שמעה מהדיירים שהקבלן הבטיח שההיתר יגיע ולא קיים. הם מתחננים ממשה ליאון שירחֵם על המשפחות שיישארו בלי בית.

Kufr ‘Aqab lies within the municipal border of Jerusalem drawn in 1967. About 25,000 residents live in this township, most of whom hold a Jerusalem-resident ID. Since the construction of the Separation Barrier, the neighborhood has been cut off from Jerusalem and has become a no-man's-land in terms of law enforcement, urban planning, and construction laws.

מובלעת ביר נבאללה בצפון ירושלים ממוקמת בין שכונת רמות לבית חנינא ממערב לכביש 443 ודרך בגין. הוביל ממנה כביש לדרך הראשית בין רמאללה לירושלים והתגוררו בה כ-10,000 תושבים. ב-2006 הוקפה בחומה מכל עבריה למעט "כביש מרקם חיים" צר לפרברי רמאללה. הגדר קטעה כמעט לחלוטין את הקשרים העסקיים של תושבי העיירה עם שאר ערי הגדה וירושלים ומחצית מתושביה נטשו אותה.

In the Batan Al Hawa neighborhood 70 families have been issued evacuation and demolition orders. With the cooperation of the Chief Guardian, settlers have taken over an out-of-date religious endowment fund, who owned land populated by Yemenite Jews until 1832. They intend to build a new neighborhood there, demolishing the houses that have been built since.
