Morning
חברון - עליה מתישה במעלה תל רומיידה
חברון - רחוב שוהדא הנטוש ברובו

Road 60:

The breach in the fence near the Meitar checkpoint is alive and kicking. The traffic is constant and there is no attempt to stop it.

Before the Tene-Omarim settlement and in front of the Shim'a settlement, there seems to be an area that was purchased by the Jewish National Fund, which cultivates it. We see a car and a bulldozer deep in the field.

Hebron:

Today is the eve of Hanukkah, and the president is expected to arrive, apparently at the Cave of the Patriarchs, to light the first Hanukkah candle. We wanted to check if there are preparations, limitations, or special preparations. We entered through the industrial area of Kiryat Arba and the Jewish Hebron. We crossed Kiryat Arba - there is nothing special happening.

Axis of Zion: Around the disputed house, which the settlers call Peace House (Beit Hashalom), there are additional guard posts of the army - both below and behind the house.

Tel Rumaida: The passage, of course, is on foot for the non-privileged residents - the Palestinians. At the top, near the cemetery and the Chabad Midrash, the checkpoint - only for the car of the privileged residents of the place. Everyone else only  on foot. We were not allowed to pass.

Cave of the Patriarchs: Many soldiers - mostly from the back. The Palestinian shops opposite were closed, probably because of the president's expected visit in the afternoon. But, the coffee shop  of the settlers is open and defiant. A religious tour guide of an American family was allowed to come in and guide and make a living. Many soldiers and  especially the Border Police. But of course Abed, the Palestinians owner of the carpet and souvenir shop, is closed and the owner sits unemployed and without a livelihood.

Road 317: Vine plantations in front of the settlement Carmel. The settlement's takeover of the area? Oppositethe settlementt Susiya - houses after the cemetery can be seen. Another takeover?
