Afternoon

Anata, Issawiyya, Azariah, Wadi Naar

.

Anata:  Somewhat of a backup of vehicles heading out of Jerusalem, but traffic moving smoothly.  School is over so there was much less traffic than usual.

Isawiya:  No changes from what has become the norm over the past months.  Unimpeded entry and exit to French Hill and the road to Maaleh Adumim.  Concrete blocks at the exit to Mt. Scopus and military presence.

Azariah:  Very busy on this first day after the Eid.   No unusual occurrences.

En route to Wadi Nar:  no changes in the situation.  The large expanse on which tremendous infrastructure work had been invested is now pretty much overgrown.  The few remaining Bedouin are staying put.
