Morning

06:50 - 07:25, Tura-Shaked Checkpoint

At this hour the checkoint is already open and the soldiers are getting organized.  On the West Bank side, two cars are waiting, but there are no pedestrians. Today there are no delays and at 07:00, the first persons pass through, exactly on schedule. There are only a few people and everyone passes through with no delays, except for one car that has been turned around back in the direction of the West Bank.

07:35 - 08:10, Barta'a-Reihan Checkpoint

Here too, in the upper parking lot, only a few people are waiting for transportation.  There are also fewer cars, and fewer people coming out from the sleeveinfo-icon. It seems the permit delay is still going strong In the terminal, 4 inspection windows are open. There is no line, and after a short time, one window is closed. Perhaps there are many detained inside? A man tells us that ideed there are many inside. Another man says that everything goes fast, with no delays. We were unable to estimate the time it takes to cross - the man whom we were following did not come out of the terminal. Again we gave out Sylvia's magical slips of paper (with details of getting help) to three people, but they didn't mention the general problem with the delayed permits.
