Habla

"Where is your heart?" one soldier called out to another when that soldier expelled a youth who was standing near the fences on the Habla side and asked to cross over the agricultural fields of the village. True, the clock showed that it was a few minutes after 7:30 but there were still people waiting to finish their inspection.  And, while the youth was denied passage (maybe he had hoped that the soldier who expelled him actually had a heart...) an older man arrived from the direction of the fields and nurseries, driving a wagon.  He hoped that they would allow him to return home but he was also denied passage.  And, as A. said to us later, "They (soldiers) are late,  but as to us..."
