Afternoon

Very much the same situation as in previous weeks.  The only change was that in this watch, there were two police vehicles stationed at the Isawiya exit to Mount Scopus and there were some army  vehicles stationed at the intersection of the road we used to take to go to Wadi Nar .Before it was blocked off.  Traffic moved smoothly at all the checkpoints, but one can not help but appreciate the enormous difference at Wadi Nar.  What was once a bustling intersection of vehicles and people going back and forth is now quiet with few vehicles and, when we were there, no workers or other pedestrians going through.
