Morning

Tura Shaked Checkpoint
There were already several people next to the turnstile on the West Bank side of the checkpoint, but the soldiers had not yet arrived.  They arrived only at 07:10 and the first person cross through ten minutes later.   People and vehicles crossed quickly and there was little traffic at this checkpoint as usual.

From Katsir and onward work is being done to widen the road to the east onward.  The work is also being carried out on Saturdays.

Reihan – Barta'a Checkpoint 07:40 – 08:10
The parking lot was crowded and people were waiting for rides to work, but there were fewer people than usual.

There were three windows operating in the terminal.  People were crossing quickly and we observed that it took about 12 minutes for one person to cross.

A man asked for our help in eliminating a ban to enter Israel.  We gave him a note with Sylvia's phone number.  When we left there was practically no one left waiting in the parking lots.
