Settlers annoy Palestinians in the South Hebron Hills
We returned to Abu Safi following a phone call from him to Muhammad. The day before during the plowing of his lands, the settler Israel arrived and informed him that he could not plow in the mountain. Abu Safi called Hussam from the DCO and the police also arrived and sent dear Israel home.
Ahmad Abdullah Za'rur, whom we visited the previous time, also received a visit from Israel and was even arrested following a complaint from Israel that Ahmad tried to strangle him. He was released at night on bail of NIS 1,000.
When we arrived atAbu Safi's we were greeted by a group of ducks with great excitement and loud cheers.
