Morning

The “fabric of life” is maintained. Seemingly. A CP is opened at the appointed time (06:30) and is closed after people have passed through on their way to and from Habla.

But what is the “fabric of life” for a boy in a wheelchair, or for a father with a babyinfo-icon in an infant carrier, who go through the checkpoint, when the man is forced to hold the infant carrier in one hand and push the wheelchair with the other? What is the “fabric of life” for a man who arrives at the CP in a car but the car doesn’t have a passage permit and he has to turn around and go back to Habla?

What is the “fabric of life” for teachers who must pass day after day by the checkpoint, and are obliged to linger for the checking of their identification papers on their way to their pupils? The delay today lasted 11 minutes.
