Morning

10:30 many cars in the parking lot; a few people in the waiting room. More people arrive in an endless stream, and they are let in after a short while.

Today people older than 55 were not allowed in. Usually, they are not allowed to enter before 8 am so that they won’t be able to work in Israel, but after 8 am they can enter without a permit. Probably this old-new practice has begun as a collective punishment before the recent round of attacks. One of the men said that on Fridays as well, these age groups are barred from entering and praying at the Al Aqsa Mosque. He said that they denied entry to hundreds of older people. We called Hannah B. with the hope that she could help. She promised to try and meanwhile advised: do not give them too much hope.

A young man said that until three years ago, he was getting work permits all the time. Suddenly, without any reason, he became GSS-prevented. A lawyer he had hired did not help. We gave guidance on prevention-removal to him and the other prevented people who turned to us.
