Morning

Northern Checkpoints – Tura and Barta’a: order, quiet, filth – all are maintained.

Barta’a-Reihan Checkpoint

A little before 06:00 we arrived at the Israeli side of the checkpoint. Everything flowed and order and cleanliness were preserved. We went over to the Palestinian side and there too, everything flowed, including the filth. We left because no one needed our services. When we passed over to the Israeli side, the security guard asked us to open the window of our car and requested to know what we were doing here.

Tura-Shaked Checkpoint

We arrived at the checkpoint at 06:30 and noted the quantity of plastic bags that were everywhere.

At 06:35, the transport with soldiers arrived at the checkpoint. The first Palestinian car passed through the checkpoint at 06:45. It’s incomprehensible why the soldiers don’t arrive on time and why they make the people, who are rushing to work, wait. At this checkpoint also it was orderly and therefore we left at 07:15.

All in all, we had a quiet shift.
