Afternoon

As in past weeks, the Anata crossing was quiet.  Vehicles were passing in both directions without impediment.

The situation at the Isawiya crossings remains the same.  There is free passage into French Hill (although many, many cars and other vehicles are parked near the entry way, possibility to be on the safe side if the area is closed off once again); there is no impediment to the road leading to Maaleh Adumim; and the entry to Mt. Scopus is still blocked to vehicles.  In fact, there seems to be even more military personnel stationed there.

Al Ezariya is busy with new, upscale shops opening – a positive side.

There seems to be no new work going on in the area near the shrunken Bedouin encampment on the way to Wadi Nar.

We were told that the matter is in the courts, but that was hearsay.  We have not be able to determine just what is going to happen in this area in which a huge amount of preparatory work has already been expended.
