Morning

The checkpoint opened promptly at 4:00.

People we watched for got through in 10-15 minutes.

As usual, we found that women get through faster than men. Where we can see them, between the first turnstile and the main building (the "black box" where we don't know what's going on) we notice that men let women get ahead of them.

Hedva, who had never seen a checkpoint before, expressed surprise at the way the people crowded together - like a flock of sheep.

As usual, people hurry to get through and then wait around, to be sure of being on time. We spoke to one of the men who confirmed this.

Seeing no problems, we left at around 5:30.
