Morning

Along the way all was route and no army prescence. From last week, the army does not block and guard the Dura Junction, even the stalls on the side of the road were in their places. I wonder when they will be destroyed again.

Hebron is full of groups.

According to the security vehicles at the entrance to the Cave of the Patriarchs, V.I.Ps appear to be inside.

Abed, in the souvenir shop, says he is “prevented from entering Israel“ for a year because of some puzzling story from 40 years ago. In his  attempt to find out how and why this is so, IDF officials reacted with utter astonishment to say the least..

When I offered to be helped with our friends, he said he did not want to pay NIS 500. Especially as he was not compensated for the destruction of his stalls by settlers about two years ago. He has decided not to go to Jerusalem for a year and that is it.

Jerusalem is the place that matters to him and he can now not enter.

As you can see in the photos, there is an attempt to attract people to come and live in this holy city.
