Morning

About a dozen cars waited in the parking lot. There were no people in the waiting room. About 100 new seats covered with plastic were waiting in the empty hall. Is there an investigation into who has ordered the purchaseof these seats and what budget financed the purchase?

A few GSS and police "prevented" approached us. A young man said he has two girlfriends in Israel and both bore him children. He is unable to obtain a permit to visit them. He has a summons to discuss the matter at the Interior Ministry. We advised him to bring the Interior Ministry summons to DCL and maybe it might help him obtain an entry permit to Israel.

A contractor who is police "prevented" said he was employing workers in Israel and they were caught with work permits that, according to the authorities, were fake. He said he picked up the workers in Jerusalem, not knowing their permits were fake. He, and each of the workers were sentenced to 16 days in prison in Ramla and a NIS 3,000 fine.

An angry settler, who says he employs many Palestinian workers, said that the Ministry of Labor makes it very difficult to obtain work permits for Palestinian laborers. He claimed that in the Ministry of Labor there is a woman-clerk who creates unreasonable difficulties about granting permits and asked if we had lawyers capable of handling this matter and declared confidently: "You have the power."
