Many of the people crossing at the checkpoint greeted us. Nobody stopped to complain so evidently there were no delays.

The gate at Abu Salman opens at 05:45, but we were late, because when we tried to follow the road along the wall from the opening near the closed gate at Oranit we found out that the gate was closed from the Israeli side as well. There was a sign saying "no entrance". It looked new. Maybe we had not seen it before since the gate used to be open. When we drove closer a soldier came out of the bushes to explain to us that it's forbidden to cross.

We drove on in order to reach Hable in time for the opening of the gate. According to our latest information it was supposed to open at 06:30, but it appeared that the hour had been changed to 06:05. Groups of 5 people were crossing on their way to work. A man in a Palestinian car and a donkey pulling a wagon with two people also passed through.  An ordinary morning, people leaving for work…

At this time of the year the gate at Hable also opens at 13:30 and at 16:00.
