Morning

06:50 – 07:35 Tura Shaked Checkpoint

On the way to the checkpoint we see the new electric poles – hallelujah!

By the time we arrive there are a few people waiting in front of the carousel on the West Bank side of the checkpoint. The soldiers arrive in a van at 7:05, but they get organizes quickly and at 7:10 the first person has crossed through. The transit through the checkpoint does seem slow, but by the time we left no one was waiting. Cars passed through in both directions.

07:45 – 08:20 Barta'a Riehan Checkpoint

The upper parking lots are filled with cars and people waiting for their shared rides. Groups that have left the terminal are coming up the sleeveinfo-icon. In the terminal itself four booths are open and the crossing is swift; we timed it at six minutes per person. By the time we went back up, the parking lots were nearly empty.
