Morning

06:55-07:25 - Tura-Shaked Checkpoint

The checkpoint is already open at this hour, 5 minutes earlier .  Today there are few people passing through and returning, and there are few vehicles.  Everyone passes through quickly with no delays and there is no one waiting.  One man says everything is OK and the second one says--in Hebrew--that they humiliate; that in the passage through the checkpoin there is humiliatiing.  But why are there so few people today?  "It is Shabbat and they don't work."  The tobacco is blooming and nearing the end of the season.  They tell us that the crop this year is small and awful; there wasn't enough water.

07:35-08:00 - Barta'a-Reihan Checkpoint

The upper parking lot is filled with cars and taxis.  Many people are waiting for transportation.  In the terminal, 4 inspection windows are open and we see the lines waiting.  Despite the long line the passage is fast--we counted about 5 minutes' passage for a few people. The workers tell us that "Everthing is OK." When we left, the parking lot was already almost empty of people waiting.
