Barta'a-Reihan, Tura-Shaked, Ya'bed-Dotan

05.50  Barta’a-Rehan checkpoint.  The checkpoint is open but there are not many people or cars. The few that arrive pass through quickly.  Purim.

06.20 Yabed-Mavo Dotan checkpoint. We cross the checkpoint in our car so as to experience the deep scores in the road, which were made recently after an incident of shooting by a passing car at the soldiers. The scores are deep and particularly irritating.  On concrete blocks they have put glowing stripes.

Cars pass from side to side.  The fields are ploughed and worked. We leave bags of clothes at EMRICHA, pass in front of the Barta’a checkpoint and continue to Tura.

06.45  Tura-Shaked checkpoint. Few are waiting on the further side. They tell us that passing is slow. At 7.15, pupils of Madhar-al-Maleh school begin to arrive, passing through the checkpoint to school in Tura.
