We decided to drive on Route 60 to the entrance to Halhul to see what was happening at the entrances to the Palestinian villages.

At the Meitar checkpoint everything is normal, parking on the Palestinian side is full and we did not see anything unusual.

Further down the road, the entrance to 'Abda next to the pillbox is blocked. The residents have to leave the village in other ways which are not so convenient and take much longer, about 20 minutes, but it's their time, not ours.

In the forest at the foot of the road trees were burning . Also in Deir Razih, on the right of a road. A fire was destroying olive trees. It was a day of fires all over the country.

Down the road the Dura-El Fawwar junction was open in all directions. The Sheep Junction, too was open.

At the entrance to Bani Naim there is a traffic police checkpoint that is secured by the army.

Shuyukh Junction was open and facing Route 35 the sign at the junction points to Hebron - Kiryat Gat.

The Palestinian communities do not exist.
