Morning

06:00- Barta’a Checkpoint

First we saw those who had already gone through the checkpoint - masses of people on their way to work. Afterward, we went down to the Palestinian parking lot, from which the Palestinians enter the checkpoint. Continuous streams of people arrive and pass through the checkpoint (terminal) without delays.

A young person from the West Bank tells us that an Arab-Israeli lawyer took NIS 500 as a contribution to take care of his (General Security Service) ban from entering Israel...and then disappeared.  He is worried that perhaps something happened to her., anything ...What will happen to his money? Who can help him?

06:30 – Anin Checkpoint (Agricultural Gate 214)

The soldiers were late by more than half an hour, and at the Liaison and Coordination Administration and also at the brigade's HQ, no one knows where the soldiers had disappeared to.  When they arrived, at 07:10, everyone passed through quickly, all the Palestinians who had been waiting.  “Good morning,” “Good day” – the people from Anin were so happy to see us.

07:25 –Tura-Shaked Checkpoint (Texture of Life Gate 300)

Relatively vigorous movement of vehicles and pedestrians. There are complaints about the lateness of the checkpoint opening, about the soldiers’ excuses, and about the soldiers’ interaction with the workers, which is “without any respect.”

08:00 – Tayibe-Rumana Checkpoint (Agricultural Checkpoint 154)

Thirty people wait at the eastern point of the checkpoint gate. The checkpoint is opened late here, as well, by 15 minutes.  In the end, everyone passed through, including five women and several babies (this is an agricultural checkpoint; the women take the babies to work).
