Afternoon

We proceeded to our shift on the day of the murders-terrorist attack at Sarona, Tel Aviv.

The South Hebron Hills are calm, the landscape breathtaking.
Nothing about this shift prepared us for the terrible evening that followed.
Many barriers have been taken down and vehicular traffic is rather lively.
In the early afternoon, people in the region are busy shopping before the evening
break of the Ramadan fast. In the shop we met Nasser (one of the owners) from
Deir Razah. Nasser is travelling via Jordan to visit his son who studies medicine abroad.
Inshallah, he says, may we see better days.
We promised to be his guests at the end of the Ramadan month.
