A very rainy day.
At the entrance to Dahariya the barrier is locked.
At Dura-el Fawwar it is open.
At the sheep crossing there are soldiers.
We stopped in Hebron at Hamudi who is a resident of Shahada Street to give him the many parcels of shoes and clothes. He knows many people in the area who are in need.
At Abed's we met Zanica/Zalica whom we know from the sea days and also a German tourist who has been wandering the country for some months. She asks about us and what we do, what is our goal. Are we helping? Do we believe?
We ask Abed about this special day on which Trump has made his announcement about Jerusalem as the capital of Isrrael. He is not particularly excited by it. He, as usual, does not believe in anyone. The Saudis cooperate with Trump, that has always been the way.
We went up to Tel Rumeida, the Gilbert checkpoint is open but further up there is another barrier and we cannot go further and returned as we had come.
