Quiet morning

Virginia Syvan, Ina Friedman (reporting)

We arrived at 6:15 and remained for an hour. The weather was a bit nippy at our arrival but grew more comfortable as the morning proceeded. There was a steady stream of people into the checkpoint and no backup in the slaloms. Other than people wishing us a good morning or waving to us as they walked by, we were not approached by anyone asking for help. When we noticed that the stream of newcomers had dwindled to a trickle, we too proceeded through the checkpoint without any delay or incident.
