14:45 – 16:15

14:45 - Turah Checkpoint The checkpoint is quiet and dirty as usual. Cars pass in both directions. One car is not allowed to pass to the West Bank - the driver (resident of the Seam Zone) tells us that yesterday he was carrying windows in his vehicle and left before the inspection was over and before he was allowed to drive, "luckily" - only the car was not allowed to pass, they left his permit in his passport.

On our way to the Anin Agricultural Checkpoint, we see that the olive groves have been treated - pruned, dug and new groves were planted, as well.

15:10 - Anin Checkpoint The opening hours of the checkpoint in the afternoon are still unclear. One military car is already inside the checkpoint, but it is still closed. At 15:15 another military car arrives with soldiers and the checkpoint opens. A total of 5 people passes by. At 15:30 the checkpoint closes and the soldiers leave.

15:45 - Barta'a Checkpoint The checkpoint is crowded with workers returning from work in Israel and in the Seam Zone. Those who left to work in the morning from this checkpoint tell us that lately, many more people are passing here in the morning to work in Israel. The biometric detection (eye photograph) in the windows is faster, but the first inspection on the only conveyor belt machine that functions, is very slow and causes large queues between five to six thirty a.m.

People with their shopping return from the West Bank to Barta'a, cars and yellow taxis also return and are checked at the inspection post.
