Morning

It was a busy day on the roads, a lot of security personnel at the regular intersections and cars were searched, the usual routine on a Sunday. There was a lot of pressure at the Sansana (Meitar) CP, and along the separation fence illegal workers were  milling around and trying  to escape from various security personnel.

In the village of At-Tuwani, the Border Police stopped cars and detained people. We heard that arrests had been made earlier, but the people had  apparently been released in the meantime. The situation was unclear. There were soldiers at the entrance to 'Abda, Hursa and al-Fawwar. IDF soldiers also checked the cars at the pool and at the new gas station, even though the two places are near on to another. At  the Zif junction opposite the grocery store, the police also searched for traffic offenders. The picture was repeated at Beit Haggai and the Sheep Junction. The road were pretty tense
