Hakvasim (sheep) Junction, Sansana (Meitar Crossing), South Hebron Hills, Zif Junction
The morning is very busy and the Meitar checkpoint is very tense and there are traffic jams around the checkpoint. On the way to checkpoints in every corner (Dahariyya, Al Fawwar, the sheep junction and the entrance to Tuwani) the Border Police are present but no one was stopped. At Zif there was also a roadblock and lots of cars and trucks and jeeps on Route 60 and 317. We returned so as to visit our friends, the Abu Kbaita family. The family that is trapped on the seam line between the Yattir settlement in Area C and "official" Israel. Mahmoud, the father of the family is in Hebron, but his wife welcomed us cordially and we decided to make a thorough visit in two weeks.
We returned through the Yatir forest and Umm al-Hiran: The situation there is tense, of course, but they have received an assessment of the “voluntary” evacuation and areas are being built for them at Hura.
