Morning

Meitar: Many workers. One of the workers reports that on Sundays there is a very heavy load because everyone goes out together to build the " Land of Israel" (according to him).

Some of them stay within the Green Line until Thursday, and return home at the end of the week.
Fuqeiqis, next to Negohot.
From the road 60, we turned left, towards Hursa, and from there towards the settlement of Negohot. Before Negohot
(on road 3265) we turned to the right and entered Fuqeiqis which is a small village, right next to the Negohot settlement, with all its ramifications. The two villages, Fuqeiqis and the larger Hursa, are used for the passage of Negohot settlers to Route 60 towards Hebron and Be'er Sheva.

Negohot is expanding, roads and houses are being added and construction is in full swing.
We spoke with Ranya from Fuqeiqis.

The story of the missing sheep:

Ranya tells about a Negohot settler who regularly grazes his sheep near their home. A few days ago, he made a mistake: he claimed that a sheep had disappeared, and apparently (how else?) that it had been stolen by some man from the inhabitants of Fuqeiqis. He phoned the soldiers to find his sheep and, of course, it turned into a military operation! But it turns out that no one took or stole anything. According to Ranya’s report, the general attitude of the government is that the Palestinian residents are the bad guys, and the settlers are always right. That's why soldiers are called to look for a sheep.

From Fuqeiqis we continued to Route 60. There is a military checkpoint at the Dura al fawwar intersection: soldiers check the vehicles leaving Dura.
