Morning

Yesterday, Palestinians from Dahariya and Sylvia approached me for help. The man was released from a two-week detention in September. As usual, he was dropped off at 1 in the morning at the Meitar checkpoint without  his ID and phone (Scandal in itself).

"We will send them to you  later", they told him.

Then they sent him to Hebron. There was nothing there either. 3 months have passed and the man is still without an ID, without a credit card, without a work permit and without a phone. And it is really urgent because he has a medical problem for the consultation of which he has been waiting for 8 months.

Since the case is handled by Adv. Tamir Blank,  Sylvia sent me his and the man's power of attorney with the addition of paperwork proving the truth of the matter. The man is of course helpless and stressed because how is  he  to go for a medical examination next Monday.

I complied with their request and went today with Muhammad to the prison in Beer Sheva to extract his belongings from there to transfer them to him soon. This time I waited in jail for only an hour. Then a woman employee arrived and even complimented us and  said that it is a blessing that there are women like us who care about human beings wherever they are.

Muhammad will meet him later as agreed between them and give him all that he needs.

I wonder when will they respect people wherever they are and not send them that way from detention to their home.
