Morning

06:50 – 07:20 – Tura-Shaked Checkpoint
We arrived early, together with the soldiers, but only 30 minutes later the first Palestinian crossed the checkpoint, at 07:20,. Today there were only a few people who crossed the checkpoint in the two directions. Perhaps because of the Ramadan fast?  Everyone passed through with no delays—pedestrians and cars. There were no lines.

07:30 – 08:00 – Barta’a-Reihan Checkpoint

The upper parking lot was fill with private cars, taxis and people who wait for rides to work.  A relatively small groups of people come up through the terminal.  Also inside, there didn’t appear to be a lines.  Two inspection windows are open and working. Here too, there are fewer people passing through than usual.  The passage is quick with no delays.  When we returned to our car, the parking lot was already empty of people.  One man turned to us for help about a new denied passage permit to Israel.  We passed on to him the telephone numbers of to call for help.
