Morning

At the crossroads of el Fawwar the entrances to the village are open.

We went into Hebron from the southern entrance. At the entrance from Kiryat Arba to the city, opposite us is the synagogue of Ohel David, each time looking more shaky and disintegrating,

But it does not "give up," and a single armed soldier is on duty – guarding the synagogue  from above.

An attempt to travel to Tel Rumeida failed because two Golani soldiers in a booth not far from Abed’s shop - demand our IDs , asking who we are.(They have never heard of MachsomWatch)

On the phone to their commander they are instructed not to let us continue. When we ask why? Mumble:

Because there is some exercise ..

On the way to the neighborhood of Kapisha the new checkpoint is still  being built. At the grocery store two police sappers exchange a few friendly words with us ... ( I am not sure they knew who we were).

To Abed we could only get around, from the lower parking lot. According to him everything is quiet ..

very few tourists ..

On the way back, we saw in Shima a new  neighborhood being built on another hill -  a massive construction, not just caravans.
