Dura-Al Fawwar Junction, Hakvasim (sheep) Junction, Sansana (Meitar Crossing), South Hebron Hills
Meitar CP is crowded.
Many workers pass through the checkpoint today and the parking of the vehicles is very busy to capacity.
Road 60:
In Eshtamo'a an acoustic wall and a fence were built within a month, in addition caravans were added in the illegal settlement and unlike the Palestinian neighbors, no one from the army or administration came to destroy them.
A military checkpoint at the exit from Samu' stops vehicles, two soldiers are standing and checking and two soldiers at a nearby lookout.
A similar checkpoint was added this morning at Al Fawwar, here too the same 2 + 2 format.
Omar Abu Sneina from Hebron meets us at the Sheep Junction. Omar says that almost every day, in the early morning hours, there is a checkpoint at the intersection when everyone is in a hurry to get to work and therefore there is a delay in the schedules, which creates stress and discomfort.
Further down the road when they reach the checkpoint the rest of the crossing is fast and takes only 10 minutes.
