Morning
We made our way to Hebron on road 60. There was little traffic, the crossings are open. There is nothing of note. On the orange house there is a sign of which we see several as we continue “We have bought and are building here.” Soldiers guard the building. At the side a horse is tethered and opposite on the road a young donkey. They seem to be the possessions of the settlers and seem miserable and neglected. The soldiers said they brought them water and grass.
Soldiers guard the Palestinian children who descend the steps on their way back from school.
We visited Abed. Today is deserted. No tourists or visitors.
The continuation is routine and sad with no future in sight.
