8.15 The fence of Shave Shomron is as long as the Diaspora and encompasses enormous areas. The checkpoint is not manned and the movement is free.

8.30 Beit Iba

At the entrance to Nablus there is no checking but those coming out are very carefully checked. Everyone comes out putting on their belts. There is no dogtrainer and cars pass swiftly. No lines and the atmosphere is comfortable.  There are many people entering Nablus and the passage is open. Buses filled with children are checked for about 5-7 minutes. An ambulance uses it sirens in hysteria and passed after 5 minutes. One of the workers who makes a living as a porter says that tomorrow the checkpoint is being cancelled. Pedestrians will not be checked and cars will be diverted to Deir Sharaf.
