Morning

ANATA                                                                                                                                                                      Arrived at 6am to find heavy traffic but moving smoothly. The soldiers explained that the new fence was put up to help keep the children safe and off the road. The construction on the new and larger checkpoint is continuing. Soldiers present were polite and friendly though the area was filthy.

Traffic line at Hisma was long but moving. Many potholes on this road to Qalandia.

QALANDIA

As all seemed rather quiet and smooth, we left at 7:30
