No special incidents en route to Wadi Nar.
Once again, there were 8 security personnel doing the checking and probably several more in the tower whom we could not see. It was quite cold and windy and there was very little stopping of vehicles going in either direction.
The tangle of barbed wire which blocked off the road coming from Abu Dis has been moved to the side of the road. Also, there was a team of workers laying down traffic spikes in the road coming from Bethlehem (to insure one way traffic). Similar spikes had already been placed on the road heading south.
It appears that very soon, the checking will be done at the booths to the south of the intersection rather than at the intersection itself which is now the case. For machsomwatch observers, this will serve to move us yet farther away from the inspection points.
