08:00 - Shaked-Tura checkpoint
No special problems were reported. People went through as well as a few vehicles, all had permits.

Passage time of a pedestrian is about five minutes, and that of a car is seven.

School vacation continues.


09:25 - Rihan-Barta'a checkpoint
Heavy traffic from the West Bank into the Seam Line zone. People report that passage time today is between ten minutes to one quarter of an hour.

They say: "Today it goes swiftly".

At the car park area there were six pickup trucks with not too much goods. All went into inspection together and came out with in less than an hour.

A few people had crossed over from the Seam Line zone into the West Bank and went straight to cabs that were waiting at the Palestinian car park area.
 

10:20 - We left the checkpoint and drove through Barta'a. The market place was vacant.

One merchant said that the situation is tough.
