07:30 Jubara
They use the phone to find out if they may let us through; there is no key, they call and a Hammer brings the key.
At the Children's Gate we are stopped. They need to find out if we are allowed  through to A-ras checkpoint. We got permission.

08:00 A-ras
The commander politely puts us behind the concrete blocks at the centre of the checkpoint, for our own protection.

They inspect every car and a queue forms. In addition they inspect  only one side at a time and  meanwhile the queue grows on the other side. It is the shift changing time, and they stop working for 15 minutes. After the break the Hammer still blocks one side and creates more delays.

08:50 Anabta

Lively traffic. At the entrance they inspect and check IDs, and a queue builds up. Israeli cars are let through after inspection. Suddenly there is a phone call. Someone leaves the observation tower and instructs the other to stop the inspection. In a minute the queue disappeared.
