The commander politely puts us behind the concrete blocks at the centre of the checkpoint, for our own protection.
They inspect every car and a queue forms. In addition they inspect only one side at a time and meanwhile the queue grows on the other side. It is the shift changing time, and they stop working for 15 minutes. After the break the Hammer still blocks one side and creates more delays.
