Morning

A quiet shift. There are no signs
of tension in spite of what is happening in the south.

6.20

Roadblock 109 (The Elijah
Passage) – About 50-80 workers are waiting in the closed-off area
to enter the seamline zone. The inspection is slow. Some of the workers
left home at four o’clock in the morning. They pass through the electronic
gate, the turnstile, and walk up to the window in the shielded cabin
where the permits are being checked. It takes 5 minutes for 3 people
to pass. A soldier is posted to keep order. The waiting area is “decorated”
with a heap of garbage.

6.45

Qalqiliya – No cars
are being detained at the roadblock, and there is no line.

6.55

Jit Junction – There
is no roadblock.

7.05

Anabta – There are two
soldiers. No cars are being detained.

7.55

Shavei Shomron – There
are two soldiers at the checkpoint. No cars are being detained.

8.10

A-Ras
There is no roadblock.
