Morning

7.30

At the Jubara
roadblock, at the entrance to A-Ras, we have to wait for half
an hour, first for a permit and then for the key. The soldiers realize
that one of them has left with the key, so we wait for it to be returned.
We give up after half an hour. If the people living in the house at
the roadblock (Shuakiya) had needed the gate, they would surely have
given up as well, but they can’t do what we did – we simply drove
on…

8.10

Anabta
– There is a long line at the entrance to Nablus and there are six
cars at the exit. Although the cars are hardly being inspected, there
is a line, since only one passage is open in both directions.

10.20

Qalqiliya – no lines
