Morning

Jubara, the Schoolchildren's Gate

07:45 – Three workers arrive and pass.

Ar-Ras

The
checkpoint commander asks us wondering what reason MachsomWatch women
have to visit Ar-Ras every day when there is such little traffic. We
ask him if there have been any incidents here and he tells us that 4
weeks ago they caught a young man who had Molotov cocktails in his bag.

There is little traffic. Once in a while they take ID cards for check over the phone.

Anabta

08:30
– There is little traffic. Both at the entrance and at the exit there
are no checks. It's unclear what they need this checkpoint here for.
The soldier just waves a hand signaling the cars to pass.
