Morning
Observers: Translation: Yael Bassis-Student

07:30 - 08:05 - Shaked-Tura checkpoint
-
Traffic streams along on both directions without delays. A few cars and mostly pedestrians and a herd of sheep.
We've exchanged greetings with those coming and going and haven't heard anything beyond that.

08:15 - 09:15 - Rihan-Barta'a checkpoint
-
At the terminal there is a heavy traffic of pedestrians going on both directions. There is no line in front of the entrances.
Those coming out tell us that today passage is quick, about ten minutes ("Perhaps because of you") but yesterday things went slowly, and took at least an hour.
At the vehicles' inspection posts  for cars entering the Seam Line zone there are only a few cars. Today they inspect outside the enclosed defined area, two cars in about 17 minutes.

The entire terminal area is well groomed,  clean and shiney,;we wish the human relations were accordingly. And here a surprise - the cleaning lady today is Russian-speaking.
We recall the Russian-speaking female soldiers who speak Russian with Palestinians who had studied in Russia, and Buma Inbar's saying: "Governments sign agreements - people make peace".
