'Anata, Qalandiya, Thu 7.8.08, Morning

Sheila, Judy E and Mili M

We arrived at Anata at 6:30 and there was not much traffic. All seemed to be going smoothly so we moved on to Qalandiya, arriving at 7:10. The lines were long but orderly. When asked, people said they have been waiting for about an hour, perhaps before our arrival. We timed the admission of those waiting (approximately 150) and note that the flow took about 30 minutes for the external passage and 10 minutes for the inside.

The line for women, sick people, etc. closed at 7:50.

Passing through by car took us about 20 minutes
