Afternoon

 16:45  Anabta Checkpoint

At the entrance and exit, three cars. Traffic flows smoothly.

 17:00  Jubara Checkpoint

We’re in a queue with another 25 vehicles. We go around the queue in order to enter Jubara.

A soldier comes forward to open the gate.

 17:10  Ar-Ras Checkpoint

Sparse traffic through the checkpoint. On the lookout’s wall, a pink sign has been posted by “Women in Blue and White” (photo attached).

[Note: this is an Israeli group that visits IDF checkpoints to support the soldiers with refreshments and encouragement – ed.]

Sara clarifies to the CP commander that there’s a directive from the legal advisor [of Judea and Samaria] to take down any posted signs that constitute incitement.

The CP commander immediately takes down the sign and stores it in a box.

17:30
We leave the area.
