Morning

Jubara Gate

07:10 – A policeman demands that we show the car documents and a soldier opens the gate without any problem.

The Schoolchildren's Gate, Ar-Ras checkpoint

07:15 – Little activity. An Israeli policeman is at the checkpoint and once in a while he checks the passengers' documents.

Anabta

07:45 – Thirteen vehicles are waiting. When we arrive we are asked to cross the road and wait on the opposite side. Right after that another soldier comes and tells us to go back to the other side of the road. If there is some disagreement among the soldiers about the side of the road we can stay on, there is one thing in which they are all unanimous – we mustn't stand next to the shooting post, in the shade.

It took the vehicles 8 minutes to pass, according to our measuring.

On the way to Qalqiliya, opposite Qdumim, soldiers are sitting in the yard of a deserted house and look as if they are guarding it.

The entrance to Azzun is open.

Qalqiliya

10:45 – A long line of vehicles at the exit. The soldiers work at a reasonable speed, but the line is long and it takes about 10 minutes to pass.
