General: Little movement and the reservists are satisfactory.

14.35 Jubara.

The gate was immediately opened for us. We asked the soldier for his telephone number so as to phone when we returned and he did so without hesitation. This is an efficient and recommended way of doing things. The children's gate was empty. At A-Ras there was a change of shift which caused a delay and drivers said they had waited half an hour and was soon as the change in shift was concluded the traffic jam ended. Cars leaving Tulkarm were checked and those entering did so freely. When we left Jubara the soldier whom we phoned came at once to let us through. At Anabta there was little and swift movement.
